Refund Policy for Unique Dental

Legal Disclaimer

The information provided in this Refund Policy is intended as a general guideline for establishing our refund practices at Unique Dental. It is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. We recommend consulting with a legal professional to ensure that your specific needs and circumstances are adequately addressed.

Deposits, Cancellations & Refund Policy

At Unique Dental, we aim to provide high-quality care while respecting the time of both our patients and clinical team. This policy explains how deposits, cancellations, missed appointments and refunds are managed within the practice.

Appointment Deposits

All appointments require a 40 euro deposit at the time of the booking.

Certain treatments and longer appointments may require a bigger deposit at the time of booking.

Deposits are used to reserve clinical time and may be applied toward the cost of treatment.

Deposit requirements will be explained before your appointment is confirmed.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in:

  • Loss of deposit

  • A late cancellation fee

  • Requirement for a deposit before future bookings

This policy helps us manage appointment availability and minimise unused clinical time.

Patients who do not attend their appointment without notice (“no-shows”) may lose any booking deposit and may be required to prepay for future appointments.

Repeated missed appointments may result in limited booking availability or refusal of future appointments.

Refund Eligibility

  1. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  2. As dental treatment involves professional clinical services, refunds are not automatically provided once treatment has been completed.

  3. Where concerns arise regarding treatment provided, we encourage patients to contact the practice so that we can assess the issue and discuss appropriate next steps. In many cases, remedial or corrective treatment may be offered where clinically appropriate.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable once ordered, commenced or completed:

  • Consultation fees

  • Emergency appointment fees

  • Hygiene appointments already attended

  • Laboratory fees

  • Custom-made dental appliances

  • Crowns, veneers, aligners, retainers or whitening trays once fabrication has begun

  • Completed dental treatment

Cosmetic & Aesthetic Treatments

Cosmetic dental treatments are subjective in nature, and individual results may vary.

While we strive to achieve the best possible outcome for every patient, aesthetic preferences differ from person to person. For this reason, dissatisfaction based solely on subjective cosmetic expectations does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen situations can occur. Cancellation fees or deposit losses may be waived at the discretion of the practice in exceptional circumstances.

Changes to the Refund Policy

Unique Dental reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
